DIY Cards Against Humanity Halloween Costume

A Halloween costume for horrible people.

Hi friend!

Now that it's October, get ready to be bombarded with all the Halloween content on my social channels. I love Halloween, but not for the reasons you may think. The spooky scary, haunted house, gory bloody part of Halloween I can do without, BUT I can do with DIY costumes. Something about Halloween just brings out my inner DIY queen and gets me SO pumped to make a million costumes despite the fact that I never really do anything exciting every year, but that's beside the point. 

This year we're kickin' off  Halloween 2020 this year with a crowd favorite party game, Cards Against Humanity. I recruited my boyfriend Christian to help me out with some Halloween posts this year so if you're looking for couple costume ideas I got you covered. 

This Halloween costume is pretty easy and straight forward, here is what you need:

• Black T-shirt
• White T-shirt
• Black Paint / Sharpy Marker
• White Paint / Sharpy Marker
• Cardboard

All you have to do for this costume is pick a phrase for a black card and a phrase for a white card (don't worry, I got you covered down below for ideas) and put it onto the shirt. You can be as PG or R rated as you want, your call.  If you have a white and black sharpy marker I suggest you using those over paint since you have more control over it. The cardboard is to place inside your shirt so it doesn't bleed through. Pretty easy and great for my last-minute friends out there!

White Card: Running out of stamina 

Black Card: Man's biggest fear  

White Card: Commitment 

Black Card: What ended my last relationship? 

White Card: My ugly face and bad personality 

And for all my science friends out there, Christian was very proud of this pairing when he played this in college:

Black Card: What gives me uncontrollable gas 

White Card: Photosynthesis
