Summer weather is definitely here in the Carolinas with temperatures in the high 90's even, 100s this week. For most days my outfits tend to be some combination of an oversized t-shirt and lounge shorts, but for the rare occasions where I get to dress up (ie: the grocery store) rompers and white tennis shoes have been my go-to as of late.
I know everyone raves about a good flowy summer dress for hot summer days, but rompers, especially rompers that look like dresses, are a way better option in my opinion. I mean, you get the convenience of only throwing on one piece of clothing for an outfit but you also have the added comfort of shorts in case mother nature decides to give you a big gust of wind your way while you're out. This little romper (yes, romper!!) has been on repeat for me these last few weeks. It's so lightweight and the back is sheer which is perfect and breezy for hot summer days.

In other news, if you don't follow me on Instagram then you may not know I cut my hair! I decided last minute to donate my hair during my hair appointment and I'm so happy I did. More to come on that soon! But in the meantime, I'll probably be posting photos with my long hair for a bit now since most of my content is preshot a few weeks in advanced...#bloggerprobs.
