I don't mean to play favorites, but this may just be my favorite look I shared on the blog yet.

If you're like me than your coat closet may look like a sea of black, dark grey and every other neutral color in the book. I mean, if you're going to buy a coat that you're going to wear all season long mine as well pick a neutral color that will go with a lot, right? Even when I tried to branch out to add some sort of color to my coat collection I still would gravitate towards colors such as olive or navy that are still pretty neutral and easy to pair with other colors.
Over the past year, I've been trying to break out of this "neutral colored coat" rut and try to add some variety in my coat closet. I mean, a girl can only have so many black jackets, right? I've managed to add a fun lilac fur coat, a metallic bomber and now this fun pink coat to my collection.
The main reason why I've always been hesitant about adding colorful coats, especially a loud bold colored coat, to my wardrobe is the fact that I was scared that I wouldn't get much use out of them. Now that I've added this fun girly piece to my collection, I've realized they are a lot easier to style and pair than you may think!
Here are some tips on how to style a pink coat this fall/winter:
- Black and White - This is a pretty safe pairing, but you can't go wrong with a classic black and white look. My winter wardrobe primarily consists of black clothing anyways since I always say I'm "mourning the loss of summer" so having a bright-colored coat to throw on top is a great way to add a fun pop of color to your look without thinking too much about it.
- Navy or Nothing - I mean, I feel that navy is pretty much a neutral because it pairs with SO much but, there's something so preppy and classic about a navy and pink pairing.
- Keep it in the color family - If you're looking for a bold chic look, try a fun monochromatic look with pairing this coat with different shades of pink or even maroon. It could even be fun to play around with for February for Valentine's Day.
Now that you're a pro at styling pink coats, let's dive into the deets about this piece:
- It's less than $30 - you can use my code dailyamy15 for 15% off
- It comes in 6 different colors - low key eyeing the burgundy one!
- Fits true to size - I ordered a medium
- Not made for warmth - the material feels more like a blazer than a jacket, but great for early fall or to layer over a sweater
- Has functioning pockets - always a win
