Hi friends!
As many of you know, fitness has been a big part of my life from growing up dancing and cheering to getting into group fitness in college to working at the gym and now recently getting into HIIT and hot yoga. As much as I love the time to unplug and the post-workout endorphins, there's nothing like hitting the gym with a cute new workout set. When I first started to get back into a gym routine in college, I used to treat myself to one new workout set every time I completed going to the gym for x amount of days. It was a great reward system and definitely helped motivate me to get my booty off the couch!
Over the years I've accumulated quite a collection of high waisted leggings and cropped hoodies, and I'll be the first to say that activewear can be expensive. As much as it'd be great to stock my drawer with Lululemon and Outdoor Voices pieces, it's just not within my current spending budget at the moment. With that said, I'm rounding up all of my favorite places to buy activewear with most, if not all of them being priced under $50!
Old Navy
For leggings, Old Navy is definitely my go-to. I've raved about Old Navy workout leggings in the past and I'll probably continue to rave about them. Every pair of leggings I have gotten from Old Navy (their high-rise 7/8 compressions are my FAVE) are squat proof and have held up pretty well over the last 1 -2 years. I was never really a workout in leggings type of gal till I tried a pair from Old Navy two years ago (seen here!) and have been hooked ever since. The great thing about Old Navy is that they are also always having sales, I don't think I've ever paid more than $25 for a pair of leggings there. They also have a great selection of workout tops and sports bras as well.
Forever 21
As for sports bras, Forever 21 is my go-to. They have an array of colors and styles to choose from with most, if not all of them being under $15! They also have some fun leggings as well. I have only had luck with one pair of leggings as many of the ones I tried there have been see-through, but if you dig hard enough you can find some winners!
Fabletics
I tried Fabletics for the first time over the summer after hearing all about over social media, and it is definitely worth the hype! Their leggings are so soft and definitely one of my favorites in my activewear selection. As far as price point, it is definitely on the pricier side than what I typically spend on leggings ($39+), but every pair of leggings I've purchased has definitely been worth the price. Fabletics is a membership-based service for $49.95 a month and you can skip each month by the 5th if you don't want to purchase anything that month. They also have a first-time deal where you can get two pairs of leggings for $24.
Amazon
At this point what doesn't Amazon have? I've managed to score 2 pieces of activewear from Amazon that I really enjoy, this sports bra that has a pocket for your phone and this set of crop t-shirts! Both have held up quite well through washes and are on prime.
Ellie Activewear
Ellie Activewear is new to me brand that I've recently tried out a few months ago. It's a monthly subscription box where you get three pieces for $44.95. I've featured this black and white set from their September collection this set in this post is from their October collection! So far all of their pieces have been great quality and their leggings are squat proof. You can get 25% off your first box with code: 25NOVINF
