Happy Friday friends!
This post is a bittersweet post. I'm excited to share a space that I've called home for the past 3 years with you all, but at the same time I'm also saying a final farewell to this little space. If you all didn't know, I'm moving out of my college apartment this upcoming Sunday and it's hard for me to believe my time in the space has come by so fast!
This was my very first apartment and I have had so much fun decorating it. I have changed my set up and furniture around a lot over the past few years of living here, but I think this final set up might be my favorite one! I tried my best to link items in my room for you all under each section, but a lot of the items I did either thrift or DIYed myself. If you all want a post on room DIY or have any questions please let me know in the comments down below! Without further ado, let's get started!
Bedding Details - Bedding - Lauren Conrad at Khols (old, similar linked) || Polka Dot Sheets || White Blanket || White Square Pillow (old, similar linked) | Macaroon Pillow|| Pillow Pet|| Unicorn Pillow
I remember the first things I started looking for when I knew I was moving into an apartment was a bedding set that was both girly, but not too obnoxiously printed. I came across this one on Khols from the Lauren Condrad line and fell in love! I love all the pastels and flowers in the bedding and thought it just captured "me" perfectly.
One of my favorite parts about my room is my little Christmas light/photo set up. I got the idea from Pinterest and decided to add some sparkle by adding some glitter to my clothes pins. I love how this turned out and it makes the room so cozy at night when you have the lights off and just the Christmas lights on. Also, yes, I do still have my birthday celebration decor up. I like to celebrate my birthday as long as I can!
Desk Details - Lilly Pulitzer Agenda || Lamp (similar) || Glasses: ePhonetic Eyewear c/o || Zebra Dish
Apologies for the lack of desk photos, but it was hard to get photos of this space without sharing where exactly I live from the window view! I love having my desk in front of the window, it brings in a good amount of natural light which is nice when you're spending long days studying for exams! Since my room is rather small, my desk doubles as my night stand.
Pro tip: Add a command hook on the side of your desk/night stand and hook all of your cords (phone charger, laptop charger, etc) to it so you don't have to search for it at night!
Shelving- White Bookshelf || Coffee Table Books: Lauren Condrad Style, Michelle Phan, Capture your style, Kate Spade || Instax Mini
This gallery wall/bookshelf have to be the most photogenic part of my room! I've taken countless Instagram photos in front of this gallery wall and I'm low key SO sad to have to take this down. This is also my "final step" spot for getting ready in the morning. This is where I put on all of my earrings, bracelets, and body spray before running out of the door!
And now for the misalliance walls in my room.. haha! This little card wall is such a special little space in my room. I love receiving handwritten letters and cards, they are always so thoughtful and special to me! This is just a small collection of birthday cards, thank you cards from brands, grad cards and everything that I've received over the years.
*Let me know if you can spot Katie of Chic in Carolina on one of my cards on the wall!*
Bathroom Details - Pink Over the Door Mirror|| Hot Pink Body Towels || Hot Pink Face Towels|| Small Pink Hand Towels || Grey Shadow Box Shelf: TJ Maxx
The way my room is set up is my bathroom connects both my bedroom and closet together. We all got lucky that we had our own bathrooms and since I was fortunate enough to have a walk in closet in my bedroom, I had to compromise with a smaller bathroom. Even though the bathroom is small, it's still not too bad, it got the job done and it forced me to keep it clean.
And last but not least, my closet! I was very fortunate to have a walk in closet in my room and it's been fun trying to find a way to organize all of my crap clothes. I've spent countless hours in this little room planning out blog outfits, organizing and just chilling in here because tbh, this is where I get a lot of my inspiration. Is that weird?
And that's my college apartment room tour! If you have any questions about anything you see here let me know in the comments down below! I hope you all enjoyed this post and getting a peek into my home away from home for the past 3 years. Have a great Friday and as always, thank you for reading!
xoxo,
Amy
