Happy Monday friends!
With the 4th of July being about a week away it’s about time to start breaking out all things red, white and blue! I’m always up to have an occasion to dress up for, especially if it’s a themed one.
4th of July is always one of those holidays where it’s super easy to look festive without having to go out to buy a whole new outfit for it because surely you’ll have something red, white or blue in your closet to pair together! I actually don’t own a whole lot of red items in my closet so I was excited to add this bright red skirt to my wardrobe! I actually picked this skirt up earlier this year during one of J.Crew Factory’s many sales and managed to get it for less than $20! I love how you can dress this skirt up for work with a nice blouse and heels or down with a simple tee and sneakers like I’ve done here. I actually have this skirt in a linen material in green and just love the fit of these skirts!
When we were shooting this outfit I was telling RJ how I was getting major American flag vibes from this look. If only my skirt was blue and my top was red and white striped! In case you don’t have any red, white or blue pieces in your closet to sport this year for the 4th or you just simply want to get a new outfit, I’ve linked a few of my favorite patriotic pieces for you all down below!
Do you all have anything planned for the 4th? I don’t think I have anything planned yet; hopefully, whatever I do decide to do it involves fireworks! I love fireworks and watching them on the 4th has always been my favorite thing to do. I hope you all have a wonderful day and as always, thank you for reading!
