Three years ago today I hit publish on my very first blog post! Who would have thought it would have grown to be one of my favorite little side hobbies and allow me to meet so many great people. Today I'm reflecting on the past year on Pastel N Pink!

Aside from experiencing blog events this past year, I was also able to experience a lot of firsts in my personal life as well. This past year I attend Warp Tour for the first time and shared my experience along with you how you can survive to go to an outdoor music festival! It was such a fun time listening to so many bands and experiencing my first outdoor music festival with RJ!
For the first time on the blog, I started to open up more to you all and showed a little bit more of a vulnerable side. I got so much positive feedback from you all on my "Doing more of what makes me happy" post and started to open up a little more and more throughout the year with you all.
RJ made a few debuts on the blog starting from his 21st birthday post where you got to know a little bit more about him! It was fun to switch roles for a bit and have him in front of the camera and have a post all about him. For his 21st birthday, I worked with his mom to throw him a fun surprise party and recapped it for you all in this post!
Since starting my blog, Halloween posts has been one of my favorite posts to make for you all. This past year's has to be my favorite to date and I shared 3 easy Halloween Costume Ideas! RJ and I actually went as french fries and Mustard which was featured in the post. I cannot wait to get started on this year's Halloween posts and I would love to hear any ideas you all have!
RJ and I really tried to make an effort to improve during each blog shoot. I'm pretty sure my Thanksgiving outfit idea post is still one of my favorite photos we took to date. The trees were SO pretty and it has got me so excited for fall!
Temperatures started to get a little cooler and I started to step outside of my fashion comfort zone a bit. I admitted that I am not a huge fan of traditional duck boots, but I oddly fell in love with this white and oatmeal pair during the #NSALE. I was so excited to finally have some warm boots for the snow... but little did I know the winter months weren't going to end up how I expected it to be.
And then BLOGMAS started! This was my second year of doing blogmas with you all and it's always fun counting down to the holidays with you all with all my holiday-themed posts. A few of my favorite Blogmas posts from this past year has to be my "Santa's Helper" outfit, How to get into the Holiday Spirit, and my Pink Talks v.15 post where I recapped a fun Christmas blogger dinner I went to!
The new year started and like always I shared my New Year's resolutions with you all. As far as how I'm doing on that... that's a different story. I'm still working on them! We also experienced a "normal" winter here in Charlotte and even got snowed in! It was so fun to go out and play in the snow... even if it was for a few hours before it melted.
One of my favorite outfits from this past winter was this cute layered turtleneck sweater look! We had a super mild winter here in the Carolinas so unfortunately, I didn't get to break out a lot of my cute winter wear.
My spring internship started in January and I even shared my outfit from my first day! It was so fun sharing some workwear outfits with you all on the blog and sharing what I wore to my internship!
I really started to grow my Lilly Pulitzer collection this past year and even shared my tips on how to shop for Lilly pieces of your own on a budget with you all! It's pretty up there with one of my favorite posts and I managed to partner with one of my brands, ThredUp for the post!
With the spring season approaching and graduation around the corner, I started to share some graduation related posts with you all on the blog for all of my fellow graduates. One of my all time favorite posts I shared with you all for graduation was Tips on Decorating your Graduation Cap. This was also one of my most viewed posts of the year!
April was jammed packed with great content here on Pastel N Pink. I was able to do a collaboration with one of my favorite clothing companies BooHoo and share 3 beautiful dress options with you all! You can check them out here: Wedding Season, Boho Babe, and Darling Bell Sleeved Dress
In April I also celebrated my 22nd birthday with you all as well as a recap of all of my festivities. April is my favorite month, for obvious reasons, and it has some of my favorite posts from this past year.
April came and went and next thing you know it I'm a college graduate. I wrote a long farewell letter to my college as well as shared some of my senior photos with you all. It's so cool to share big life moments with you all and you guys are always so supportive!
