Happy Friday friends!
Welcome back to another Pink Talks post! I think I might just keep these for a monthly type post to update you all on highlights and what's been going on as of late. I've been back home in my hometown for the past week just relaxing and catching up with family. Even though it's been nice being home, I'm excited to head back to the Queen City in a few days!! I've also rounded up all of the best Memorial Day weekend sales for you all at the end of the post. So let's just jump right on into things!
What I've been up to...
Simon Blogger Dinner
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to attend a blogger dinner at Concord Mills! It was fun to catch up with some blogger babes and meet some new gals that I have been following for a while now! We spent the night chatting and enjoying some of Concord Mill's new restaurants, Chipotle, Alinos, and Outback Steakhouse!
I Graduated!
So if you've been living under a rock the past few days.. I GRADUATED COLLEGE! It's now been officially two whole weeks since I graduated and I still cannot believe it happened. I wrote a whole letter to my university about my college experience if you want to check it out! It's been so fun to celebrate with my family and friends over the past week. Here's to living in the real world!
Playing Photographer
If you all didn't know, RJ takes all of my photos for my blog so he's usually the one behind the camera. Lately, I have been really into learning how to shoot in manual mode and it's been fun switching roles lately. If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen some sneak peaks of some football photos I took of RJ. It's always so fun shooting with him and we always end up laughing the whole time!
Last week RJ took me fishing with him during his break and I managed to get some shots of him while we were out there!
RJ keeps joking that he needs to start a blog now. How fun would that be?? haha!

Bauble Earrings
If you do a quick scroll through some of your favorite blogger's outfit posts lately then you may notice that the ball drop earrings are EVERYWHERE. I already own a white pair for the Sugarfix collection at Target, but I couldn't help myself to pick up a couple more pairs in a few different colors. I picked up a yellow pair and pink ombre pair. I love how these ones are bigger and I cannot wait to style them!
Denim shorts and jeggings
So we all know I'm not a huge fan of denim bottoms, but I have been finding myself lately wanting to pair some outfits with some denim shorts or jeans. I can't remember the last time I bought a pair of jeans or denim shorts and with all the Memorial Day sales going on I thought I would take advantage of them and add some new pieces to my wardrobe! I picked up these shorts and these jeggings for a great price!
Thrift store finds
GUYS, I've been having such great luck lately finding so many goodies while thrifting! My recent finds have been some Old Navy shorts that look like a Lilly Pulitzer print and a yellow vintage Lilly Pulitzer midi skirt. Obviously, I can't link the exact items for you all, but I will share some similar items as well as some pieces I have been loving as of late!
