I hope all of you had a wonderful week! It's kind of strange that this is my only outfit post of the week here on the blog. I'm trying to incorporate more of a variety of posts on the blog for you all! If you have any specific requests let me know down below!
Midi skirts have been a hot trend for a while now and I have always loved the look of them. I always strayed away from getting a midi skirt for myself because I always thought it would make me look even shorter. So I bet you're asking, "...well then how did you end up with this midi skirt?"
Flashback to winter break and one of the many late nights where I was scrolling every online store possible half asleep. Like how many late night shopping stories ends, I ended up adding too many pieces into my cart and waking up to several clothing orders that my wallet didn't approve of. I guess to justify my late night shopping spree, this skirt was only $6 and I guess my sleep deprived self just couldn't pass it up. I mean, it was a great deal! Unfortunately, my exact skirt is sold out (with that price, could you not see why??), but I have linked a couple similar ones for you all down below!
After getting the wrinkles out of this skirt and styling it around a bit, I was hooked. I just love how flowy this skirt is (as you can tell from the photos!) and the bright red color is so fun. I low key feel like a salsa dancer or the red dancing emoji!
One key factor I do think is a must when styling a midi skirt, especially if you're on the shorter side, nude heels are a must! They elongate your legs which help a ton since the skirt cuts you off.
If you're on the fence about getting a midi skirt, I highly recommend going into a store and trying it on first! Midi skirts come in a couple different lengths and styles, so it may just take time finding the right one that fits your body!
