I hope all of you had a great time ringing in the new year! I decided last minute to not make a trip out to Charlotte and decided to spend a low-key new year's eve with my family. It's been great spending time in the mountains but I think I'm ready to head back to Charlotte soon!
The weather here in North Carolina has been SO weird lately. I'm talking about 50 and even 60 degree weather one day and snow the next (no kidding). I guess I shouldn't be that surprised since I lived in North Carolina for pretty much all of my life. This outfit was shot during one of our warmer days (hence the bare legs!), but I think this could totally be transitioned to the cooler days with a pair of tights and a warm coat!
It's no surprise that flowy, nonconstricting clothing is my favorite type of clothing to wear. I mean, you have to make room for that food baby, am I right? I managed to snag this super-soft swing dress for less than $20 and am considering picking it up in another color! This dress is such a closet staple and you can do so much with it.

Try adding a fun statement necklace and heels! Or maybe a fun faux fur vest!

Throw on some comfy sneakers and a cozy cardigan!

How about today's take on it, pair it with a cozy blanket scarf and some heeled booties!
This would be the perfect lunch date outfit, grabbing coffee with the girls or for a day where you want to dress up a tiny bit! It's always so fun trying to create so many different looks with one clothing piece just by simply switching out the accessories.
