If fall could be a color it would be maroon... or burgundy, or wine, or what ever you decide to call this gorgeous color. Year after year my go to color in the fall time has to be maroon. It's such a classic color for this time of year and you can pretty much guarantee this color isn't going out of style any time soon.

Yesterday marks the official first day of fall and as sad as I am to see summer go, I am excited about a wardrobe change. One of my favorite colors to wear year after year in the fall time is maroon.
If you follow other fashion bloggers then you may have heard them raving about this Lush top from Nordstrom. I was bummed that I didn't pick up the top during the sale, but was super happy that I managed to find a super similar top at TJ Maxx for $12! Although this top is not the exact top that everyone is raving about, I still get the hype. This top is super versatile and has already found so many ways to style it!
For some reason, I'm not one to purchase plain and simple tops when I go out shopping. I guess my mindset is if I'm buying something I want it to have some print or be a statement... but in return, they're really not that versatile. So long story short, several pats on the back for me for picking up this top!
This Sunday is my little brother's birthday and I swear every year his birthday goes by I'm always in denial that he's growing up. I mean, he's going into the last year of his teenage years! WHAT. Can time stop now, please?
