Pink Talks v.2

Happy Saturday Friends!

I'm back again with another Pink Talks post! I've finally decided on what I'm going to call this little series (let's be honest, I may change it again because I am terrible with decisions). Now, let's dive into today's post, shall we?

What I've been doing...

Last weekend a few of my friends and I packed up a car and headed out to Oak Island for the day for a relaxing beach getaway. The great thing about living in Charlotte is that it's pretty much right in the middle of the beach and the mountains. Both locations are about a 2 -3 hour drive, which isn't bad compared to a 8 - 12 hour drive I would normally have to take from my home town. 

My friends and I spent the day eating delicious (veggie) burgers and soaking up some much needed rays. Also, I played the most intense game of corn hole in my entire life! Unfortunately Mr. Camera man and I lost by 1 point, but it was still fun none the less.  It was such a fun trip and I hope we get to plan another one again soon! Pastel N Pink turned 2 years old yesterday!! If you haven't yet, check out yesterday's post where I share all about why I started blogging and memories from this past year!
Tonight I'm headed over to one of my blogging friends, Annaliese from Southern Belle in Training's house warming party! It's still so surreal to me to have meet people through my blog and I cannot wait to see how her place turned out! 

Recent Purchases... I visited Nordstrom Rack for the first time last week and picked up these tassel earrings. I have been wearing them nonstop! I use to be really into big statement earrings when I was younger and they are definitely making a come back into my wardrobe this season!
I also picked up this adorable babydoll dress while I was at Nordstrom Rack. After I purchased the dress I realize Morgan from How 2 Wear it had the exact same dress... #twinning! You can check out how she styled the dress here. 
On snapchat I snapped a picture of a blue and white floral dress asking if I reaaalllyy needed another floral dress in my collection... well I'm here to say I did purchase that beaut. Here's a similar dress! I also picked up these beaded sandals that were on clearance as well! 

Rambles...

I cannot forget to mention that Father's Day is tomorrow! I'm so sad that the second year in a row I won't be able to be home to spend Father's day with my dad. My dad is my best friend and I cannot thank him enough for every thing he's done for me. From going formal dress shopping every year to teaching me all of his bad jokes he's always been there for me.
