I hope all of you are doing well and had fun celebrating Cinco De Mayo yesterday! Unfortunately, I had a presentation at 8am this morning which caused me to miss out on yesterday's festivities. /: Good thing Taco Tuesdays are a thing!

For the longest time, I've always heard everyone and their mother rave about the Lilly Pulitzer Callahan shorts and I've never really understood why... until now. I purchased my first pair during their After Party Sale and I already want to buy several more pairs! Other than the price tag, there's not much I can really say that's bad about these shorts! First off, these shorts are super bright and comfy. The length of them is perfect and I never have to worry that my butt cheeks are going to pop out (or lack thereof, haha).

I actually wore this outfit two weeks ago on my birthday before we headed out for dinner. I paired these adorable shorts off with a high neck lace top to give it a more dressed up and girly feel. I finished off with my go-to nude flats and my new favorite go-to purse.

In other news Mother's day is Sunday! Fun fact, my dad's birthday is also on Sunday. Unfortunately due to my school's testing schedule, I am unable to make the trip home to celebrate with my parents. /: I'll see them in about a week when I go home for a short break and we'll plan to have a catch up 21st birthday for me, celebrate a late mother's day, and my dad's birthday. We're just going to have one giant celebration! Haha.
