Florals for Spring?

Happy Wednesday friends!

We all know that florals for spring isn't anything new, but we all should expect by now that I'm giving up on florals anytime soon. I mentioned in my Work The Shirt blog post that floral print and cobalt blue are a few of the trends that are hot this season and luckily for me those I have plenty of those pieces in my wardrobe!

I had picked up this mirrored floral top last year while I was shopping for my birthday and am still in love with it! To bring out the blue in the top I paired it with my cobalt blue skater skirt (Which btw, bad idea to wear on a windy day. So many Marliyn Moments during my walk to class when I wore this outfit!). As for accessories I finished the look off with my every day watch, J.Crew chain bracelet and the newest addition to my arm candy collection, my unicorn Alex and Ani bracelet! This has to be the cutest bracelet ever and special s/o to Mr. Camera man for gifting it to me for my birthday!

Right now I am currently back in my hometown visiting family before I start summer classes. As much as I love Charlotte and always tell people how I have no plans to move back home after college, I do have to admit that I love how beautiful it is here. My hometown is pretty much the opposite of Charlotte. I live in a town full of beautiful mountains and a population of 1,000 (no joke). Hopefully I’ll be able to get some pretty outfit shots while I’m down here and you guys can really see how beautiful the mountains are here.  I hope you all are having a wonderful week so far and I’ll be back soon with another post!
