Blue plaid + Quilted Vest

TGIF everyone! This week has been a roller coaster of emotions, but I am so happy that it is finally Friday! 
Before I get into today's outfit, can I just point out how "adventurous" this photo setting is? I felt like an explorer looking for some rare animal out in the wild while I was taking these photos! Is that weird? Maybe a little. 
Moving on to the outfit... I recently picked up this royal blue plaid top from Old Navy and I am seriously in love with it! I have never really shopped at Old Navy much in the past, but recently I have been finding myself stumbling onto their website and browsing through their clothing items pretty frequently lately. I don't know if my taste in clothing has changed since a few years ago or they have updated their clothing line, but some of their clothing pieces, especially their button ups, are ON POINT. I'll link some of my favorite tops here and here. 
Royal blue has always been one of my favorite colors to wear so when I spotted this royal blue flannel top I knew I had to have it! I love how this top is slightly oversized and that it is long enough to wear with leggings. I paired this top off with a quilted white vest from Red Dress Boutique that I picked up over the summer during one of their big sales! To finish off the look I just threw on some leggings (because #NoPantsNovember) and some black ridding boots!
In case you guys didn’t know, Thanksgiving is 6 days away! Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I am so excited to be back home with my family and stuff my face with delicious food. Be sure to come back Monday for a blog post on an outfit that I think would be great for Thanksgiving!
