Happy New Years!!
2015. Wow, that's going to take a while to get use to. The year 2015 has always been a weird year for me to think about because it's the year my younger brother graduates high school. It's just hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that he's going to go off to college this year. Something about my brother graduating high school makes it hit hard that we're growing up.
Okay, enough with the realization that we can't be 17 forever. Since it is a new year and a perfect time to set new goals I thought it would be appropriate to write down my new years resolutions. (Cliche right?) I figured since my resolutions would be on the internet for the world to read I am more likely to stick to them. At least that's the plan.
- Be consistent with working out. I know I know everyone always makes it a goal to be healthier, workout more and get fit at the start of the new year. For me, I go through phases with my workout routine. For three months straight I would be working out everyday and enjoying it, and then there would be a month or two I don't even touch my running shoes. I want to make it my goal this year to keep up with a consistent workout routine.
- Maintain my spot on the Dean's List. After my first semester freshman year of college, I quickly realized that keeping up the grades I had in high school were going to be a lot harder in college. After learning from my first semester I managed to change my study habits and were able to get on the Dean's list for my school for two semesters in a row. I'm shooting to keep that streak going.
- Be more consistent on my blog. I want try to make some sort of schedule where I can post once or twice a week for starters. I know at the moment posting everyday would be hard to shoot for, but I want to try to be more consistent than just once every few weeks.
That's pretty much it for my new year's resolutions. I didn't want a crazy long list of goals because I now it was going to be overwhelming for me to complete everything. It's going to be interesting to see around this time next year if I have reached my goals! What are some of your new years resolutions?
